the next day, Clement came back home with his pants all bloody. his father asked him what happend. Clement replied:"i drove my car into Yiting's garage and she puleed of my back tires."

here are random jokes that I tell Pearl in clz when we are bored by lessons:
There are 2 muffins in the oven.
A: wow, its hot in here!
B: wow, a talking muffin!
LOL.
Okay so there was this guy who was so bored of his life. Lets call him Yu Siang. So he went to a jungle and covered himself with leaves all over except his (unspeakables). For what reason i don't know y.
then he lay down to rest. SO this cute little girl came along. lets call her Yi Ting. o.o. Everyday she went to this jungle to pick mushrooms. she likes to count when she picks. "one, two, three, four, five, five, five..." She realised that she could not pull up the 5th mushie, which is Siang's (unspeakables). then poor yiting went home disappointed. Aww Yiting dun cry over an ACE D<
Siang thought: wow! coming here doing nth also feel so shiok! i shall come again tmr!!
in the meantime, yiting went home to tell her dad, Timo. TIMO is BIG and MUSCULAR! Timo says " YiTing, there is no mushroom i couldnt pluck!"
the next day, Siang was camping there in the same attire again, at the same spot. so Timo came along, counting as he plucks. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6..."
OWWWW. T^T. ROFLMAO!!!

Hi guys (and girls)Thank you all for supporting 3k Boys in their interclass
Thank you 3k girls(again) for working so hard and playing your best
Anyway,
Reminder for all 3k boys that tomorrow interclass will resume.
It is the quarter-finals already so let's all do our best and make a leap to the finals.
We will be playing against 3G and if we win, we will play against 3D/J or 3F depending on who wins for their round. From now on its knockout stages, so whoever loses its game over.
Okay, for the attire please bring the red level camp (year 3)tee and pe shorts/sports shorts. If you have any problems on the attire (e.g. have not finish washing level camp tee/level camp tee tore/pe pants and sports pants stolen etc.) please bring along pe shirt and a pair of shorts at least.
Thank you all. Oh and girls please continue to support us! :D It boosts our morale; especially for some specific people...

Interclass Maths and Science Challenge 2009

The preliminary rounds will take place during week 2 July, when school reopens D:
Here are some of the details:
1) Come up with a 'show and tell' presentation to explain a Math or Science concept[a list of Math/Science concepts & props will be given to you to choose from during week 1]
2) The presentation should last 4-5 mins
3) Judging criterion includes teamwork, creativity, clarity of presentation and accuracy of content
4) A panel of 4 judges will shortlist 5 teams from each level, in which 3 consolation prizes will be awarded while the top 2 go into the finals
Are you interested? If so, form a group of 3-5 with the rest of our classmates, anyone you want.
Also, you need not be good in math/science only, but be good in speaking and creative, because this is a show-and-tell.

Racial Harmony Day Performance

Dear year 1-4s,
With the upcoming Racial Harmony Day, all classes are required to prepare a dance, song, skit or any other performance for the celebration. The theme this year is "Neighbours". So students have to come up with an item (about 5-7 minutes) revolving this year's theme. There would be 72 ethnic costumes available which could be loaned to you for your performance if choosen by the teachers.

hey guys. Seriously shall we come up with a seating arrangement ourselves? hmm we can even change our positions of our seats. but then of course Mrs Hong have to agree before we can so I cannot promise anything yet. hmm maybe i shall come up with the plan someday soon.
BTW our class tee increased price to 19 bucks. and obviously we left out some details as previously was 21 bucks. D: so do we want to carry on with our class tee or change design or go new vendor? then try to make our class tee last for at least 2 years! XD so wun waste money...
And we also got ppl forgetting their duties... try to do your duty! Alina will b collecting fines from u all if u decide to be naughty :) and those who did their duty, good job! keep it up!

XD thanks 3K for your hardwork! other than kaimeng, TW, Vivienne and me will also be supervising you all... so those slackers better watch out! bin duty can be done twice a week, board duty at the end of every lesson that uses the board, and floor and table duty every day once.

Hey people!!
After our war against tests and assignments piled all over us,
we have our brave warriors who are undeterred and enthusiastic in returning law and order in our class..
they are namely Zong Long and Ting Wei!
(while i was barely alive and half dead>.<)
They strategically assigned roles for our class duties that was previously pretty unobserved,
and also initiated the class gathering!

hello 3k this is zonglong here
we have noticed that not everyone is doing the classroom duties. this may be due to a few reasons. 1stly, i think that the duty roster is not clear enough. i will be coming out with another one soon XD
next we need something to spur us to do our duties and score constant 5s in the classroom cleaniness ratings!!! this said, it is better to use detterents than incentives ^^ unfortunately so. therefore, we(actually only me) have come up with a fine system as adapted from my last year's clz. it works well and very seldomly ppl didnt do duties.
here goes:class comm and SCs need to pay double if they skip duty for unofficial reasons.
1st offense:50c
2nd offense:1 dollar
3rd offense:2 dollars
4th offense:4 dollars
then it is twice the previous offense. for those who think that it is cheap, try going on and it will burn a hole in your pockets. the money paid for the fines will go to the class fund. this system will only be implemented after we discussed it.
here goes the new roster:we will split 2 weeks into 10 days, like in the timetable.
there are 4 major jobs: sweeping the floor, wiping the whiteboard, taking out the rubbish and (wiping the tables+wiping our personal corner thingy+clear teacher's table+clear leftover posters etc)
it goes in register, contact me if u want to change etc. gonna make a hardcopy on the board
kaimeng will be in charge of this XD so her duty is to supervise?
gimme your views on this... i know its not perfect so gimme tips on how to improve this... if any one wants to change duties with other ppl then also inform me lo... hope can talk more abt this in PC period.

Hi guys (and girls)Thank you all for supporting 3k Boys in their interclass
Thank you 3k girls(again) for working so hard and playing your best
Anyway,
Reminder for all 3k boys that tomorrow interclass will resume.
It is the quarter-finals already so let's all do our best and make a leap to the finals.
We will be playing against 3G and if we win, we will play against 3D/J or 3F depending on who wins for their round. From now on its knockout stages, so whoever loses its game over.
Okay, for the attire please bring the red level camp (year 3)tee and pe shorts/sports shorts. If you have any problems on the attire (e.g. have not finish washing level camp tee/level camp tee tore/pe pants and sports pants stolen etc.) please bring along pe shirt and a pair of shorts at least.

Interclass Maths and Science Challenge 2009

The preliminary rounds will take place during week 2 July, when school reopens D:
Here are some of the details:
1) Come up with a 'show and tell' presentation to explain a Math or Science concept[a list of Math/Science concepts & props will be given to you to choose from during week 1]
2) The presentation should last 4-5 mins
3) Judging criterion includes teamwork, creativity, clarity of presentation and accuracy of content
4) A panel of 4 judges will shortlist 5 teams from each level, in which 3 consolation prizes will be awarded while the top 2 go into the finals
Are you interested? If so, form a group of 3-5 with the rest of our classmates, anyone you want.
Also, you need not be good in math/science only, but be good in speaking and creative, because this is a show-and-tell.

Racial Harmony Day Performance

Dear year 1-4s,
With the upcoming Racial Harmony Day, all classes are required to prepare a dance, song, skit or any other performance for the celebration. The theme this year is "Neighbours". So students have to come up with an item (about 5-7 minutes) revolving this year's theme. There would be 72 ethnic costumes available which could be loaned to you for your performance if choosen by the teachers.

hey guys. Seriously shall we come up with a seating arrangement ourselves? hmm we can even change our positions of our seats. but then of course Mrs Hong have to agree before we can so I cannot promise anything yet. hmm maybe i shall come up with the plan someday soon.
BTW our class tee increased price to 19 bucks. and obviously we left out some details as previously was 21 bucks. D: so do we want to carry on with our class tee or change design or go new vendor? then try to make our class tee last for at least 2 years! XD so wun waste money...
And we also got ppl forgetting their duties... try to do your duty! Alina will b collecting fines from u all if u decide to be naughty :) and those who did their duty, good job! keep it up!

other than the class outing, the classroom duties are going on fabulously. XD thanks 3K for your hardwork! other than kaimeng, TW, Vivienne and me will also be supervising you all... so those slackers better watch out! bin duty can be done twice a week, board duty at the end of every lesson that uses the board, and floor and table duty every day once.

Hey people!!
After our war against tests and assignments piled all over us,
we have our brave warriors who are undeterred and enthusiastic in returning law and order in our class..
they are namely Zong Long and Ting Wei!
(while i was barely alive and half dead>.<)
They strategically assigned roles for our class duties that was previously pretty unobserved,
and also initiated the class gathering!

hello 3k this is zonglong here
we have noticed that not everyone is doing the classroom duties. this may be due to a few reasons. 1stly, i think that the duty roster is not clear enough. i will be coming out with another one soon XD
next we need something to spur us to do our duties and score constant 5s in the classroom cleaniness ratings!!! this said, it is better to use detterents than incentives ^^ unfortunately so. therefore, we(actually only me) have come up with a fine system as adapted from my last year's clz. it works well and very seldomly ppl didnt do duties.
here goes:class comm and SCs need to pay double if they skip duty for unofficial reasons.
1st offense:50c
2nd offense:1 dollar
3rd offense:2 dollars
4th offense:4 dollars
then it is twice the previous offense. for those who think that it is cheap, try going on and it will burn a hole in your pockets. the money paid for the fines will go to the class fund. this system will only be implemented after we discussed it.
here goes the new roster:we will split 2 weeks into 10 days, like in the timetable.
there are 4 major jobs: sweeping the floor, wiping the whiteboard, taking out the rubbish and (wiping the tables+wiping our personal corner thingy+clear teacher's table+clear leftover posters etc)
it goes in register, contact me if u want to change etc. gonna make a hardcopy on the board
kaimeng will be in charge of this XD so her duty is to supervise?
gimme your views on this... i know its not perfect so gimme tips on how to improve this... if any one wants to change duties with other ppl then also inform me lo... hope can talk more abt this in PC period.
